Kitchens
Don't Forget 1 The kitchen is the most important room in most renovations and builds. It is suggested that women are the 50% of a couple that makes the decisions when property purchasing, and although we wouldn't make such a rash judgement, it is logical that an area that is so open to imagination and design ideas is a good place to make a statement and add that 'wow factor'.
2 There are three basic kitchen shapes, from which designers will plan your kitchen. i) L-Shaped, ii) U-Shaped, iii) Galley. If you work with the planners we have included you can work out what you want before sitting down with the designer. 3 To avoid the expense of a new kitchen, cabinets can often be salvaged and new doors added. There are several UK companies that provide this service. 4 Expensive worktops or features, like sinks, and even lighting, can make a cheaper end kitchen look far more expensive. |
